Why Opt For Support Under PBS?
The sponsorship is based on two main principles:
- The UK Organisations/ Institutions who benefit most from skilled migration shoulder the responsibility for helping to prevent abuse of the system.
- The PBS ensures that those coming to the UK are eligible to do so and that they have a genuine offer of a place of work or study in other words they have a genuine offer of sponsorship
All UK businesses and organisations under the PBS will be taking on greater responsibility and more accountability as sponsors to ensure that they comply with the requirements for sponsoring non-EU/EEA citizens and continue to do so. As sponsors they will also continue to be responsible for the conduct of the people they sponsor. If the UK BIA believes that a sponsor does not have the relevant processes and procedures in place to ensure total compliance with UK Immigration procedures as outlined in all the guidance details their sponsorship licence will be revoked and this is likely to have disastrous impact on such organisations
