This covers overseas Business persons going to or coming to the United Kingdom to attend meetings, conferences, arranging / negotiating business deals, signing trade agreements / contracts, fact finding missions, site visits, delivering goods, speaking at conferences, representing foreign machine manufacturers, interpret / translate for visiting business persons and will also cover the following persons:
Academic Visitor for up to 12 months
Doctors taking the PLAB Examinations
Doctors or Dentists coming to the UK for Clinical placements
Visiting professors accompanying students undertaking study abroad programmes
Film Crew on location shoots
Representatives of Overseas news media
Secondees from overseas companies
Religious Workers
Interpreters and Translators of Overseas Business Visitors
Advisers, Consultants and Trainers employed Overseas
Persons Undertaking Specific one off training
The maximum stay for Business Visitors is Six months except for Academic Visitors which is 12 months maximum stay.
- Sports Visitor
This allows the person enter UK to take part in a sporting event, tournament or series of events, charity sporting events, to joint as an amateur on a wholly or mainly amateur team, as a support staff of a visiting sports person or sports official, promotional activities, undertake a trial or training.
The maximum stay for a Sports Visitor is 6 months and the Sports visitor may also undertake activities of the Business and Entertainers Visitors Visa as well as Sports Visitor Activities.
- Entertainment Visitor
This allows a person to visit the United Kingdom and intend to take part in / or as: Music competitions, specific engagements as an individual amateur entertainer or an amateur group, amateur or professional in a cultural event, a member of the support staff of a visiting entertainer or official attending the same event,
The maximum stay is for a period of 6 months.
- Group Travel Scheme
Dele Adedeji & Associates Ltd offices in Ghana and Nigeria working with credible Tour operators plan and arrange Tourism and Educational trips and visits to the United Kingdom for the following Groups:

The maximum period of stay is for 6 months.
